Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen has been committed to helping people fleeing war, violence and persecution since 1987. Today they lobby for politics and raise awareness amongst the general public, partnering with over 30 other organisations.
Delivering the message.
How can you get the message across to people of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds? By creating images that last in people’s minds. This is how we face the tasks that this non-profit organisation brings us. We have collaborated on many projects, such as an educational booklet explaining to people interested in this topic how to communicate with all layers of the population.
A difficult demographic
When Russia invaded Ukraine, Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen opened up a “refugee infoline’. We created the campaign visuals for the this infoline, which reaches out to Ukrainian refugees arriving in Belgium. Posters were spread in our capital city Brussels, as well as numerous large cities across the Flanders region.
Oldschool charity
To reach a larger demographic of + 5.000 subscribers who aren’t always tech-savvy, this organisation sends out physical newsletters. We have designed newsletters, prepared for dynamic print processes such as printing a different recipient name and address in the letter heading.
We Welcome newcomers
There are many people who want to help people in need, but sometimes it is difficult to connect them. By creating the “We Welcome” platform, Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen facilitates this connection. We created the graphic identity for this platform and trained the platform team and developers on how to embed and maintain the brand’s look on the platform.
